With engraved pictorial landscape marquetry, the circular top with a pierced acanthus and beaded gallery, inlaid with scene depicting a village, a river and two amorous swans, above a door with a reserve inlaid with trees and a village, the two back panels inlaid conformingly, above shaped legs headed by foliate and acanthus mounts, joined by a feather-banded circular undertier with a trophy depicting quivers and birds, and terminating in foliate sabots, the underside stamped JME and barely visibly stamped P. ROUSSEL, losses to mouldings and veneer, the door and the sides previously further mounted
