Maker's mark of R. & W. Wilson, Philadelphia, circa 1850
Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, cream jug and centerpiece bowl with cover, each baluster on a circular foot, repoussé and chased overall with flowers, C-scrolls and rocaille against a matted ground, the angular handles capped by rams's heads, with ivory insulators, the pots with a Chinaman finial, the centerpiece bowl with a strawberry finial, one side engraved with monogram IEJ, all in large fitted wood canteen with original label, each marked under base
The coffee pot and teapot 12¾in. high, the centerpiece bowl 13¼in. high, the canteen 25in. by 35in. by 20½in.; 160oz. 10dwt. weighable silver (5)
