At the top of the rim a green-ground crest or shield with a representation of a covered jar (?), surrounded by a gilt-ground border of scrolling flowering vine in iron-red, the center with an arrangement of lotus vine and pomegranate in Imari colors highlighted with gilt, two sketchily painted prunus boughs on the back
