THREE GRISAILLE ARMORIAL PLATES AND AN ENAMEL ARMORIAL PLATE
Circa 1740 to 1765
Two grisaille plates with cell pattern on the well, circa 1740, with arms of Upton and of Smith impaling Horne, the third grisaille plate with arms of Montague quartering Mouthermer impaling Richards with Richards inpretence, gilt spearhead well, and an octagonal sou plate with the arms of Eden in the center, the rim with puce and sepia landscape vignettes on a ground of purple and iron-red scrollwork
