Boldly painted in the center with the arms of Gough impaling Hynde beneath the boar's head crest, the rim with four large clusters of flowering boughs in underglaze blue

Captain Harry Gough (1681-1751), one of 11 sons of Sir Henry Gough, MP, made numerous voyages to Canton, where he was known as Amy Wang, the 'White-Haired Boy'.
