An English mahogany quarter-chiming bracket clock

The case with brass handle to the bell top and later brass pineapple finials to the corners, with glazed side panels, chamfered angles to the front and rear doors, vacant quarter fret panels to the top of the front door, on later chinoiserie openwork brass feet, the brass dial with silvered strike-silent ring in the arch, foliate and scroll spandrels to a silvered chapter ring, matted centre with date and mock pendulum apertures, later dial mask, the six pillar triple fusee movement with reconverted verge escapement, hour striking on a bell and quarter chiming on eight nested bells, the backplate elaborately engraved with scrolls around a pagoda, with later movement securing brackets to the case and movement raised on later seatboard, composite; case, dial and movement
