A Chinese bronze censer and cover (Ting)
19th century
Of rectangular shape, with flanges to the corners, separating panels of taotie masks, the cover pierced with interlocking lozenges below a seated buddhistic lion finial
15¾in. (40cm.) high;
and a pair of bronze gu-vases, cast with taotie masks and archaic motifs between bands of stiff-leaves, divided by flanges running vertically down, 19th century -- 11in. (28cm.) high (3)
