A George III satinwood serpentine dressing table
Decorated with crossbanding and marquetry, the hinged top with a bowed back to fit an alcove, centred by an oval medallion, opening to reveal a fitted interior of eight covered wells and a ratcheted mirror with a later plate, the frieze with an arched kneehole flanked to either side by a short drawer between simulated fluted angles, on reeded legs headed with foliate marquetry, on brass caps and leather castors
