The rectangular top above a slant-front enclosing a green velvet writing surface, and a central door flanked by a range of pigeonholes and drawers, and one sliding secret compartment, above a faux frieze drawer flanked by two short frieze drawers, over two short and two graduated long drawers, on a concave-molded stepped base and bracket feet, with overall cross-and-featherbanding, brasses replaced
