Blink Bonny, by Melbourne out of Queen Mary, achieved the unique distinction of winning both the Epsom Classics, the Derby and the Oaks in 1857. Owned and trained by Mr. William I'Anson at Malton, she was an extremely successful racehorse and brood mare. Her son, Blair Athol won the 1864 Derby.
