The shaped bowed breakfronted top with brass splashrail above a central bowed frieze drawer flanked to either side by a deep drawer, the central arched kneehole pulling forward to a deep drawer, on ring-turned headed heavily reeded tapering legs and toupie feet, with overall ebony-inlaid simulated panelling and stringing

This sideboard with its elegant reeded legs is related to the designs and documented output of the firm of Gillows of London and Lancaster. The reeded legs exemplify the high quality of the piece.
