The breakfront rectangular top above a panelled frieze with marquetry paterae corners, above a pair of panelled doors, enclosing four mahogany sliding trays above a drawer, flanked by conforming panelled doors, on the right enclosing six mahogany drawers or mahogany slides above a drawer, with overall boxwood and ebony line inlay and with ebony moldings, on a molded rectangular plinth, the lockplates stamped SECURE PATENT LOCK, the hinges stamped COPES and HUXLEY/& CHING
