Circa 1835
The outscrolled carved crestrail centered by a pierced heart flanked by scrolls above an arched deep-buttoned back, padded armrests and rectangular seat covered with close-nailed green leather, the armrest with scrolled acanthus sheathed ends, on turned tapering legs and brass caps and casters to the front legs and porcelain casters to the back legs, stamped G & C PATENT, with a yellow chalk inscription 7520397 and stamped NO 1
