Worked in white, cream, gold, teal and brown silk threads against a blue linen ground centering a meandering vine above the inscription A.family.register/names births deaths/Joseph Kelso. born. May 7. 1777. Died Mrh. 26.1858/Jane Irvin... born.Oct.12.1780. died. Aug.23.1855" over the inscription Married 27 of/November/1796 flanked by urns issuing fruit above the family register over an arbor with meandering vines and fence with the inscription "AD 1825" flanked by the inscription Make the extended skies/your tomb. Let stars re-/cord your worth. Yet no/vain mortals all must di./e, As natures Sickliest birth./Oh Death! The poor ones/dearest friend. The kinde-/st and the best. Welcome/the hour my aged limds./Are laid with thee at rest above the inscription E.I. Kelso enclosed within an urn with birds, foliage, two cats and small trees flanked by two large trees and flowers, all enclosed within fluted columns on scrolled plinths surrounded by meandering vines surmounted by a sun and two flowers within a border of meandering vines issuing tulips
