American, late 19th century
Each rectangular and constructed in two parts with incised lines forming paint-decorated geometric shapes; the first enlivened with peach, black and red squares and circles in a scalloped edge, the corners finished with square blocks; the second decorated with diamonds in black, peach, gray and burgundy forming a sawtooth edge, the corners finished with fan-shaped blocks
