The focal-plane Ticka was one of two new models announced in 1908, the other being the watch face model. The camera was the subject of a 1908 patent and featured a focusing Cooke lens and, crucially, an adjustable focal-plane shutter to give speeds of 5, 00, 50, ½00 and ¼00 second, plus Time. The camera was last listed before 1914, making it the rarest production Ticka camera.
