A small Japanese cloisonne vase

of hexagonal shape, decorated in various coloured enamels with numerous different flower sprays issuing from rockwork, on a greyish ground -- 4¾in. (12cm.) high; a lacquer and horn mounted opium pipe, the terminal mounted in the form of a fist -- 15¾in. (40cm.) long; a Chinese lapis-lazuli carving of a recumbent horse -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) long; an amber pendant of mice clambering on a bunch of grapes -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high; and an amber pear shaped snuff bottle with stopper -- 23/8in. (7cm.) high. (5)
