the ferocious beast carved seated with a large ball on a triangular platform -- 2in. (5.1cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of two frogs seated on a flower pod, inset eyes, signed -- 17/8in. (4.8cm.) wide; an ivory netsuke of an apple and two pomegranates with leafy stalk and a fly seated on top, signed -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) wide; an ivory netsuke of a coiled rat in the form of a ball, inset eyes -- 1¼in. (3.2cm.) diam.; and another ivory netsuke of a recumbent frog with a tortoise seated on it, signed -- 21/8in. (5.4cm.) wide, (old wear).

An initial transfer and administrative charge of £18.50 per lot per day will be payable to Cadogan Tate. These charges are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
