A Chinese celadon jade figure of an Immortal sitting astride a fish
18/19th century
carved and pierced, the Immortal dressed in flowing robes and carrying a ruyi sceptre - 11/3in. (4.5cm.) wide; eight celadon jade figural carvings, the figures variously holding ruyi sceptres of flowering sprays, some issuing from baskets and one with a standing bird carved to one side - 2¼in. (5.8cm.) high max; two jade He He erxian carvings, the boys wearing long robes and joined by floral sprays - 2¼in. (5.5cm.) high max; three celadon jade carved and pierced figures, one in a low boat paddling an oar with a basket and ruyi spray, one with a goat to the side and the other sitting astride a bird; and two celadon jade carved figures of Immortals, one bearded and holding a flowering branch, the other with a three-legged toad on his shoulder - 3¼in. (8.5cm.) high max, (old wear and tear).
