A Japanese ivory okimono modelled as a tower of elephants

on an oval base, all five graduating in size terminating with the smallest standing on its hind legs with its trunk raised above its head, the lowest elephant balanced on a ball with a monkey pulling on its tail, a further monkey caught in the grasps of the next elephants coiled trunk -- 10½in. (26.6cms) high.
