A Japanese cloisonne baluster vase and cover
19th century
decorated in various coloured enamels with two main panels on blue ground depicting egrets in flight amongst flowers and foliage, the other with birds in flight amongst chrysanthemums and foliage, surrounded by mythical dragons and various vessels and implements amongst clouds, the cover with ball finial and decorated with ho-o bird with scrolling foliage -- 17¾in. (45cm.) high.
