with a deep blue glaze, six character mark to base; a Hirado blue and white teapot painted with flower sprays; a small Japanese blue and white dish with foliated rim and painted design to the centre within a shaped panel borader; a Japanese hexagonal jar with painted panels of bamboo, prunus and geometric patterns; a small Japanese blue and white octagonal cup stand painted with island retreats; a small Japanese square blue and white tiered box painted with a figure tending a garden; three Japanese covers decorated in blue, iron-red and green with a band of figures to the underside and a writhing dragon to the centre; a small satsuma kettle and cover with flaring cone handle decorated with flower sprays; a small Satsuma cover decorated with flower sprays and geometric designs; and a small blue and white jarlet painted with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl -- 6¼in.
