stamped with signature 'Degas' (Lugt 658; on the back of the neck);
stamped with the foundry mark 'Cire Perdue A.A.Hébrard' and
numbered '7/M' (on the back of the neck)
bronze with a dark brown patina
Height: 7in. (17.8cm.)
Conceived in 1892; this bronze version cast in 1919 and 1921 in an edition of 22, numbered A to T plus two casts reserved for the Degas heirs and the founder Hébrard
