ROOSEVELT, Franklin D. Print commemorating F.D.R.'s inauguration for his second term as President, INSCRIBED AND SIGNED AS PRESIDENT, Washington, 20 January 1937. Lithographic print, 14 x 16 in. including wide borders, in original black wood frame with label of Washington D.C. framer (Cohen's) on back (probably framed for F.D.R.).

A representation by an unnamed artist of the inauguration with a caption explaining that the ceremony took place "in front of reproduction of the Hermitage" (Andrew Jackson's home in Tennessee). The design with oval portraits of Andrew Jackson and first Lady Rachel Jackson at upper corners. INSCRIBED in lower blank margin: "For A.E.R. with love from F.D.R."
