Provenance
The monogram is that of Anna Eleanor Roosevelt. The cake plate was a wedding gift to Eleanor and Franklin D. Roosevelt from members of the Fly Club (Alpha Delta Phi Club), Harvard University. It is listed as item #262 in Eleanor Roosevelt's Wedding Present Book, which is on display at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library, Hyde Park, New York.
