Of breakfront form, the molded overhanging cornice above two pairs of doors, each with interlocking semicircular mullions and enclosing a shelved interior, the stepped lower section with a hinged secretaire drawer to the center, opening to a green felt-lined writing surface before a satinwood-veneered range of five pigeonholes over a long drawer and long slot, flanked to each side by four drawers, a further deep drawer flanking the secretaire drawer, each with molded surround, above two pairs of cut-corner panelled doors, on a plinth base, the locks stamped SECURE LEVER, inscribed in white chalk Gard 50, the brass pulls replaced
