Surmounted by a moulded grey marble top with a moulded edge and inlaid with panels veneered a quatre faces of ogee cartouche outline, containing a drawer in the frieze, the fall enclosing a fitted interior of ogee serpentine outline, fitted with open compartments flanked by three drawers to the cupboard below, fitted with shelves enclosed by a pair of panel doors, with a shaped apron, between canted angles headed with ormolu foliate mounts, on short cabriole feet, stamped on the back J A GRAND JEAN JME
