Lot Essay

The vendor acquired these chips from the sound engineer, Norman Wanstall, who worked on Dr. No. It is thought that they may have been acquired for use in the soundtrack for the casino sequence of the film, although they are not the same as the ones which are visible in the footage of this sequence. There are however a number of other gaming tables in the background, the details of which are not picked up on the screen.
