A NAVETTE-SHAPED CUT GLASS CENTERPIECE AND A PAIR OF SWEATMEAT GLASSES
Circa 1780, probably Irish & first quarter 19th century
The flattened oval bowl with scalloped rim cut with lozenges within zig-zags raised on a knopped circular stem, the stepped square base with orange squeezer foot; the sweatmeet glasses each oviform on stepped cicular foot and square canted star-cut base, the scalloped rim cut as shelves above a diamond band and eight oval facets
11½in. (29.2cm.) high, the centerpiece; 33/8in. (8.6cm.) high, the glasses (3)
