FIRST EDITION, WITH AN ALS BY THE AUTHOR tipped to the front flyleaf, 3 ½ pages, 8vo. Responding to a Mr. Bork, Shipley extensively discusses the plates for the book, and the incorrect order in which they have been bound in his copy. Shipley provides a list of the correct plate order, and draws a small sketch at the bottom of the first page to represent one of the images.
