Satyrae, scholiis veterum, & sere omnium eruditorum ... omnia sigillatim recensuit, concinnavit, & sua illis spicilegia adjecit Henricus Christianus Henninius, Utrecht: Zyll, 1685. 4° (235 x 187mm.), additional engraved allegorical title by T. Doesburgh, woodcut device on title and at end, initials (small piece missing from margin of engraved title, some light spotting), CONTEMPORARY PRIZE VELLUM GILT, the covers with gilt ruled borders enclosing a central allegorical female figure holding a shield and lance, the plinth with the motto "Hagae Comitis", the spine with raised bands and gilt floral motifs repeated in the compartments (lightly stained, corners a little bumped), later green silk ties, lengthy early Latin inscription on verso of the front free endpaper to Cornelius (?)Booy from J. Vollenhoven, bookplate (2).
