Edward the Confessor, Penny, Pointed Helmet type (BEH F), Winchester, Godwine Ceoca, obv. EDPER·D RE[X], cross sceptre, six beads on helmet, rev. GODPINE CEO ON, 19.4 grains, 1.26g (N.825; S.1179; Carlyon-Britton 1140e, pl XXVII, same dies; cf BMC (Uncertain) 1567), cracked from edge (7 o'clock) to centre and a little off centre, obverse double struck, about fine, reverse good very fine, a very rare moneyer known only at this mint
