Penny, Group A 3/d var., with naturalistic hand exhibiting stigma both on obv. behind head and on rev. in one quarter, large pellet in opposite quarter, 0.94g, 14.6 grains (cf SCBI British Museum 52, Ulster 103 and Roth 140-1 for hands; Seaby 6129) broken across lower edge and repaired, not well struck (legend indecipherable), obverse fine, reverse very fine, exceedingly rare, the variety with hand both sides not traced
