crouching with a club in one hand and an empty box in the other, shouting as the rat climbs onto his shoulder -- 2in. (5cms) wide, incised signature to base; an ivory manju netsuke with a gilt bronze panel of flower sprays -- 1¾in. (4.5cms) diam; and six further wood and ivory netsukes; a rock crystal model of a recumbent ram, with wooden stand; and an ivory okimono of a seabird perched on a sheath of straw -- 2½in. (6.5cms) high. (10)
