A Chinese blue and white oblong octagonal tureen and cover
18th century
with pomegranate spray finial and hares' head handles, painted with riverside pavilions amongst willow in flowering gardens, the cover with flower sprays and geometric designs -- 12¼in. (31cms) long, (restoration); four various blue and white dishes with floral decoration -- 8¾in. (22.2cms) diam; a blue and white barbed rim dish with peonies issuing from rockwork -- 8in. (202.cms) diam; and a pair of blue and white dishes with flowering fenced gardens -- 111/8in. (28.2cms) diam, (some damages).
