A pair of Royal Worcester ivory-ground three-light candelabrum
modelled by James Hadley with a man wearing hat, open shirt and breeches, holding a sickle, and a girl wearing bonnet, blouse and skirt, with a barrel under her arm, each standing before a three-branched tree, with acorn-leaf-moulded sconces, incised Hadley signatures, one with shape No. 964, the other with indistinct shape No, printed blue and green mark, impressed marks, moulded registration lozenges, date codes for 1884 (the boy with branch broken off and restuck, with small chips, some light rubbing to gilding) -- 56cm. high
