A Sèvres blue-ground cup and saucer
painted with a continuous band of birds perched on flowering branches, with blue-ground bands gilt with trailing branches, blue mark, painter's mark possibly for Jean Chauvaux jeune, incised 44, circa 1800 (cup with small rim chip, rubbing to gilding and to painted decoration); and a Meissen (Marcolini) dark-blue-ground ogee cup and saucer, painted with a specimen flowerspray within a roundel, beneath gilt scroll-moulded rim, blue crossed swords and dot mark, circa 1800 (cup cracked and with small chip)
