A pair of Paris apricot-ground plates
painted with a cowherdsman and cattle in a mountainous landscape, and figures beside a castellated archway, within a richly-gilt well, the border gilt with a band of scrolls above a continuous band of pendant flowerheads, circa 1820, one incised 20-1 and painted No. 2, the other incised 20-2 (some surface scratches and rubbing to gilding, small chips to footrims) -- 23.5cm. diam.
