These two pieces are struck from the same obverse die but different reverse dies. The reverse mintmark is not clear on the finer coin, but it is likely to be a rose.

Edward VI, Shillings (2), 4.04g., 3.29g., second period, Canterbury, 1549, m.m. rose on rev. only, bust 1, transposed legends (Bispham p.135; N.1918/3; S.2465B), the first lightly creased, otherwise an excellent full coin, very fine; the second rather crimped, fair but the legends clear, extremely rare (2)
