Proof 1883 (25 July) "Bermuda Postage Stamps Existing and Proposed Schemes of Colours" sheet (171x331mm.) bearing in a column entitled "Existing colours" ½d. stone, 1d. rose-red, 2d. blue and 4d. orange-red as issued, 3d., 6d. dull mauve and 1/- imperforate plate proofs, and in a second column perf. 12 colour trials for ½d. in green and 1d. in carmine bracket as "Proposed colours being those established by the International Postal Convention for these two duties", 2d. in brown-purple, 3d. in grey, 4d. in orange-brown, 6d. in dull purple and 1/- in yellow-brown bracketed as "Proposed colours", and 2d. in ultramarine marked "2½d.
