essay 1892 series of five pencil and ink sketches for four new State postage stamps and a postcard, lettered "A1" to "A5" each shows a common frame design and with appropriate differences for values between ¼a. and 4a., on laid paper (80-85x105mm.), the last in postcard form complete with heading to left of stamp impression and on laid paper (160x105mm.). Note: These five pieces of artwork were sent to De La Rue in London , probably by A. Kiernander, the State Accountant-General, as a corrected text version of the May 1892 essay submitted by De La Rue. The bi-lingual inscription at centre top of the postcard is the same as the postcard then current in the State with the exception of the Urdu translation, and the omission of the Sun
