Very bin-soiled labels. Lot 55 levels top-shoulder. Lot 56 levels: five base of neck and one top-shoulder. Lot 57 levels top-shoulder. Lot 58 levels: nine very and three top-shoulder
Tasting note: Remarkably youthful appearance: A black inky colour, dense to the core, with just slight bricking to the rim. An intense, muscular, powerful nose, very Médoc, very Latour. Plump blackcurrant with fine cedary perfume, a hint of tar and liquorice. On the palate: structured, cedary and still tannic. Long and impressive. An austere and classic Latour with plenty of life in it yet. T.H.
