Circa 1880, partial impressed uppercase mark, indistinct registry diamonds
Moulded as a white plumed bird protecting her chicks, the vine handle surmounted by a pink morning glory, the oval base gilt with Greek key pattern; together with a majolica small circular tureen and cover, late 19th century, two impressed S's, model no. 239, painted 81, the cover with three hatching chicks on a bed of wheat resting in a ring handled wicker basket
