A VICTORIAN FIRE FENDER AND A PAIR OF DECORATIVE SUNFLOWER ANDIRONS
Attributed to Bradley & Hubbard, Meriden, Connecticut, 1870-90
The fender with six panels, the outer four (two perpendicular) with raised geometric and stippled decoration, the inner panels pierced with flora and fauna with central bird, topped with an open gallery; the andirons with sunflower finial with three bars behind with turned and blocked shaft on reverse scroll feet; together with, another small pair of sunflower andirons (there are no billet bason andirons)
9½in. high, 53in. wide, 12¾in. deep (the fender), 16¾in. high, 8½in. deep (the andirons) (5)
