In two section: the upper with rectangular molded top above a conforming case fitted with a grooved slant-front lid opening to an interior compartment over a molded door with incised decoration and decorative strap hinges revealing two shelves all set against an incised, decorative geometric splashboard above two short drawers with incised foliate decoration; the lower with conforming case and rectangular top above a hinged rectangular lid with incised foliate border centering an incised image of an open book opening to a felt lined writing surface over a base with two grooved doors with decorative strap hinges opening to reveal two shelves on a triangular brace with median support
