A LATE VICTORIAN CAST-IRON GARDEN BENCH
Coalbrookdale, England (w.17th-19th century), design attributed to Christopher Dresser (b.1834-d.1904), 1870-1890
The cast iron rectangular molded and pierced back with molded floral and scroll pattern set within four ovals flanked by columnar supports and geometric border with molded and pierced arms and scrolled arm supports over a wooden slat bench on framed base and ovoid feet, stamped COALBROOKDALE, on lower front, stamped No. 76 on reverse
33½in. high, 25½in. wide, 75½in. long
