A GROUP OF FIVE CERAMIC VESSELS
William Dell Pottery, Attributed, and Cincinnati Art Pottery, Attributed, Circa 1880's
Comprising a ewer with central panel enclosing a crane amidst tall grasses, against a peach colored ground, incised with indistinct marks; a ruffle rimmed vase decorated with stylized flowers and foliage against a light blue and cream ground, impressed with indistinct marks and 1887; a covered jar, the blue lid and foot decorated with gold swirls, impressed Clark; a perfume jug decorated with berried, leafy branches and a textured gold stripe, incised C 1885; a two-handled pilgrim flask vase decorated on one side with a plump bird nestled amidst leafy branches, glazed in sky blue, navy, salmon and tan against an ivory ground with gilt accents; together with an earthenware flask, glazed in pale yellow and orange, decorated with a spider web motif, with gilt accents
