Lot Essay

Holland & Sons were one of the largest and most prominent cabinet-making firms of the Victorian period.
They exhibited throughout Europe and produced high quality furniture for Osborne House, Balmoral, Sandringham and Windsor.
Another dwarf press cupboard of this pattern was sold anonymously in these rooms on 3rd February 1999, lot 268.
