Late 19th/early 20th Century
Embroidered with Peking knot stitch in colored silks with a central roundel of exotic butterflies, peonies, lotus and blossoms, the field with scattered motifs of vases, flowers, butterflies and fruit, together with a joined length of royal blue damask woven with roundels of auspicious symbols, possibly 18th Century
