First half 19th Century
Now joined as a portiére, embroidered in colored silks and couched in gilt thread with Taoist immortals, many auspicious symbols including bats, lotus, blossoms, butterflies and Chinese characters indicating 'good fortune', with black satin appliqué border on two sides, lined in beige cotton with handwritten characters
